About TANIQ

TANIQ is a technology company developing composite products, and is renowned worldwide for their in-house developed composite software and robotic automation solutions. TANIQ started in 2006 as a spin-off company from the Aerospace Faculty of Delft University of Technology. TANIQ has a team of talented engineers from different backgrounds, developing high-performance applications for demanding industries worldwide. Examples of applications are oil & marine hoses, composite pressure vessels, rockets, etc. Offering unique expertise and technology, TANIQ has clients in Europe, the USA, South America, India, Japan, and Australia. TANIQ has its office and robotic prototyping facility in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Job Function

You will be working on international projects wherein you develop composite products for various industries like Aerospace, Defense, Energy & Transportation. In these projects, you will develop prototypes and products using TANIQ’s composite software and robotic winding systems. You will also design and source the materials, moulds and tooling required in the process. TANIQ’s office is connected to the prototyping facility, creating a dynamic environment for fast design and testing cycles.

After successful development, you will assist with installing the equipment and setting-up production at the client’s facility.  

 The job function will comprise (some of) the following activities:

  • Development of composite prototypes and products;

  • Design and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and molds;

  • Sourcing of materials and fabrication parts;

  • Design and development of robotic tooling (end-effectors);

  • Equipment installation and maintenance at client facilities.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would have a broad background with the following experience preferred:

  • Engineering degree (HBO/BSc) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field;

  • Strong mathematical background;

  • Affinity with Technology;

  • Experienced user of SolidWorks (or similar CAD software);

  • Bonus skill: Experience with Solidworks PDM

  • Knowledge of manufacturing parts using milling, turning, sheet metal bending, and welding;

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or composite product development;

  • Proficient in English language;
